The Board of Directors is establishing an e-mail list for Association Community updates such as important meetings and community alerts. This will be an outgoing e-mail only. While every effort will be made to keep e-mail addresses confidential, please be advised that e-mail addresses that are submitted become part of the Association’s membership records and is open to inspection*. Legally required notices will be sent or posted as required. This e-mail will be an informal update medium.
*Note: Corp. Code 8338: Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, without consent of the board a membership list or any part thereof may not be used for the following reasons: to solicit money or property, used for commercial purposes, or sold to or purchased by any person.
You must provide written consent in order to receive official communications from your Association via electronic transmission (email). This consent form will allow your Association to send you meeting notices, community alerts and other electronic transmissions.
Before submitting this consent form, please review and be aware of the following:
1. You are not required to submit this form. You may request that meeting notices, community alerts, and other matters of official business be sent to you via regular mail.
2. You have the right to withdraw your written consent at any time after submitting this form by providing your Association with written notice that you are withdrawing your consent relative to electronic transmission. No fee will be charged for withdrawing your consent.
3. This consent to electronic transmission is broad, and may include transmission of meeting notices, community alerts and other important information regarding your Association. This consent form represents consent under California Corporations Code 20 (transmission to your Association).
4. If you change your email address, note that you must submit a new form to update your Association's database.
